Job opportunities

  • The Web Design & Development and Software Engineering programme trains students in a variety of professions, in French-speaking Africa and internationally, such as computer developer, project manager or information systems manager.
  • The Banking & Insurance programme prepares students for careers in IT in banking and insurance, in Africa and internationally.

Content

  • The programme consists of twelve months of courses and six months of projects and work placements. The curriculum is made up of theoretical and practical lessons, and includes periods of work experience for students. The teaching staff will be mainly professionals from the sector.
  • The aim of this Master's degree is to provide students with fundamental concepts in algorithms, computer programming (particularly software package and web-software development), data modelling, architectures and networks. The Master's programme is designed to be multi-disciplinary and to provide a global vision of the field of computer science. The course also covers cybersecurity and information systems, as well as digital transformation project management and "Big Data analysis".
  • Students alternate between video lectures, practical work (video or simulation), projects and work placements.
  • The knowledge acquired is assessed at the end of the training by a series of examinations. An average of 12/20 in these exams is required to obtain the diploma.

Prerequisites

Accessible to students who have completed 180 ECTS and hold a bachelor's degree in :

  • Computer science
  • Software engineering
  • Web development
  • Mathematics

Accessible to students who have completed 120 ECTS (BAC+2) in the field of :

  • IT and with at least five years' professional experience (subject to an aptitude validation test).

Diplomas

This programme leads to two diplomas

- The Master in International Business MiB MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS awarded by ESC Clermont AACSB - Accredited.



. - The executive certificate awarded by Dokent in Switzerland.

Teaching methods

Teaching will take place online, by videoconference, in the evenings and at weekends, in the form of lectures or practical work.

At the same time, students will have access to an asynchronous online learning platform (learn.dokent.com). The online resources will enable students to learn at their own pace, by consulting the content made available by the teachers.
